went in bodyshop earlier looking for the little bottles of white musk they used to sell... they only had big ones and they were £11! Anyway I bought one and its loads stronger than I remembered.... I cant get away from the smell.
Was it always so strong (i only used a little bit)
i have finally rebelled against overpriced crap for my beauty regime, which never used to work against my oily skin and spots. believe me, i tried everything and spent a fortune and nothing even dented the problem. i switched to garnier pure products (blue stuff, not the red pots and potions) and in 10 days i have the skin of my dreams. no spots, no oil, and perhaps most nice....soft and smooth. i've no idea why it works, but it does and is well cheap.
My 40+ year old son still wears Patchouli oil - as a responsible father of two, hope he's given up the dope! My mum always smelled of Tweed or Coty L'aimant (sp)
Gosh I remember both of those maggie - I worked on the cosmetics counter at Woolworths in the early 60s before it was self service, and we used to try them all out..... my Mum in law always wore "Evening in Paris!"
thanks lcg i'll have a look for that tomorrow when im in town... is garnier pure in a white tube/bottle/whatever with green writing on?
i can still smell it on my jumper!!!! though now its faded and smells really nice :) guess i will have to make a rota and dab some on the clothes im going to be wearing 2 days in advance lol
my mam always always wore tweed maggie she loved it
