i've never used one, but having looked at it, and having had both hips replaced in seperate operations, i would say they look like a waste of money. i just used to clamp an ordinary pillow or large cushion between my knees when lying on my side and never had any problems. when lying on my back, i would have 5 or 6 pillows to prop me up and would throw them out or add to...

i've never used one, but having looked at it, and having had both hips replaced in seperate operations, i would say they look like a waste of money. i just used to clamp an ordinary pillow or large cushion between my knees when lying on my side and never had any problems. when lying on my back, i would have 5 or 6 pillows to prop me up and would throw them out or add to them to change position.
personally, i wouldn't bother with a slumber support.
Ditto to ethandron's reply. Have had both hips replaced and just used ordinary pillows tucked in at each side to stop me rolling on my side in the beginning. When I felt comfortable enough to lie on my side I put one between my knees.
me three. In fact, despite the op being some years ago now, i still do, because i find it more comfy
I used a rolled up hand towel under my knee as I found my heels was getting a bit sore seemed to take the pressure off wouldn't bother buying anything as recovery rate is quite quick I had mine done 4 weeks ago and am getting in/out bed normally now and sleeping pattern has returned to normal. When did you have it done?.
Hi. When i had my first hip resurfacement i had one supplied by the hospital , But when i went in for the revision sugery in May last year I was told to use a pillow and it was better thn the slumber support.
