When is half-term over?

Everywhere I go there are hordes of out of control kids.

Really....I haven't seen hordes of kids yet. Let alone out of control ones...

My school is off this week, but the schools near where I live are not off until next week.

I have come to work and the car park is really empty and the roads were so quiet. Must be the half term effect.

Then go to the schools, there are no hordes of kids there:-)
Might depend on where you live as to when they go back but my grandkids go back on Monday.
Must admit I am glad when they go back as it's quiter in the shops when they are in school.

The pavements in the village resembled a Tour de France sprint this morning with lots a kids careering around on their mountain bikes. Those not riding has invariably dumped the bikes in shop doorways. Little bleeders.

I thought it was bad enough when i had to explain to my teenager what a 'single' was. he'd actually never seen one! But then, my eight year old pulled an old video from the back of the cupboard yesterday and asked me 'how do watch these things?' i felt very old :(

How very impudent trigger. I may be an old coot, but miserable never. I take great pride in perfecting my intolerance towards unruly children, Jehovah's Witnesses and people driving white vans. That's it, you've been removed from my Xmas card list.............lol

Its refreshing to hear that kids are out and about on their bikes. I was led to believe they spent all day playing video games and updating their status on Facebook!
