Lol, chicken soup was just a myth, ANY hot vitamin packed soup is good when you have a cold as it's easy to eat, comforting and isn't taxing on your digestive tact leaving the body to fight the infection. When i have a cold i have a vegetable packed soup with hot pepper, and bell pepper packed with vitamin c and the hot pepper sure clears the sinuses and kills germs in the throat and intestines. I've tried chicken and my concoction and mine wins everytime.
