Can you remember this glue?
31 Answers
I was chatting to Buenchico last night on a nostalgia thread about the smell of a glue we used to have in the office in the 60s/70s. It smelt of almond essence and was so strong they eventually took it off the market due to glue-sniffing! It was in a plastic tub like coleslaw is sold in (think it was blue with a white lid) and had a little white spatula attached inside the lid. It was a solid white paste you could spread with the spatula to stick articles in books etc. I'm going mad here trying to remember the name ..... does anyone know please?

I also hate the awful smell of Copydex - I think they make it like rotting fish to stop glue-sniffing. That is why Gripfix was taken off the market, it smelt too nice!
