Hi both. Sqad has suggested I ask you both for advice, as I need to have tests for a possible recurrence of Sarcoidosis. I take Ramipril blood pressure tablets now, Sqad told me to ask you if they will they have any effect on the ACE level tests please. I need to be able to tell my GP. Please read about my condition on this thread. Many thanks in advance!

@Ann - Short answer - Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor, in that it disrupts the action of ACE.
I do not think Ramipril effects ACE levels, which is what is being monitored in Sarcoidosis.

That being said, I am not absolutely sure about their interaction, so i definitely think that it should be raised with your GP and/ or pharmacist.
