Barking Dog
My husband is going mad about a neighbours dog which constantly barks,in the day and all night. As I am half deaf it doesn`t bother me...my husband wears earplugs in bed as he has hearing like Jodrell Bank but can STILL hear the dog...I cannot see that there is anything one can do except ask the neighbour to bring the dog inside...which has been done in the past...to no avail.
Is there any law..I doubt it...about dogs disturbing the peace,so to speak.

If the animal, usually a dog, is left for extended periods on their own you can report this to the RSPCA under the Abandonment of animals act 1960, if the RSPCA believe it is justified they may prosecute.
