But then I suppose the timing of your journey could indicate how busy it would be...
I always take my dog on trains and have done with previous dogs. I have never had any problems, and he's fairly big. People often make a fuss of him and bend down for a quick pat as they get on and off the train, and he gets loads of smiles. And you don't have to pay. I don't drive, so it's ideal for me.
