how to transport goldfish

I need to move a goldfish on a journey that will be 3 and a half hours. will the fish survive and how should I do it.

We had tropical goldfish from my sister when they emigrated,1 and a 1/2 hour journey, as long as the lid was not fused shut and there was oxygenated plants they were fine, we used a cool box.

Yes, a chilly bin will work fine. Put the fish in a strong plastic bag first though, and blow so 2/3rd of the bag will be air, then knot or seal the bag and put in coolbox. You have to use your common sense on the size of the bag/bin depending on how big the fish is.
