Does anyone (maybe Wendilla?) know any more details about this - it seems a bit vague - will we all see the Northern lights? If so how exciting!

Dont know if we will see anything, the only thing it might effect is sat navs..
Don't know any more about it than you have read .I have been reading this for years on Spaceweather .com.

I'm off to do some panic buying.
According to local radio this morning, it was supposed to be arriving about now. I thought, "Great. Wrong time of day to hope for a aurora." (But no doubt it'd be too cloudy even if it did show this far south. The skies here always are.)
Again the old saying You can't argue with nature it will take it's course.
We have about two years of this to come... I want to go to the north to see the aurora... norway would be good..
Ann if you look at my post last night I have put a clip of mars and the moon .It wasn't meant to be a video clip so it goes off quite quick as battery was low.
It is something I'd like to see while I'm still alive & kicking. But I understand these things are not guarantied so I'd worry about spending a fortune to go into the cold and still not see anything.
Yes OG that is true as lots of people have gone there and been disappointed.
Looks like the next two years the odds will be better though... tempted to organise it as a honeymoon.. maybe a night in the ice hotel as well
My neighbour being one of them, she spent a fortune on a cruise and saw nothing!
There's no risk to human beings provided you wear flip-flops and an aluminium foil hat until tomorrow morning.
Saw a programme about that Rowan. Fasinating and the hours of work that is put into it. Still I would rather stay in the warm .
Was thinking of doing it from a cruise ship but not a 'costa'
