How many have you had ?

Im afraid Im a real tea and coffee addict, so its no good them telling me too many is no good for you as I cant give it up or cut down.
Ive been up since 5.30. Had 2 coffees at BF to wake me up, and Ive had two since being on here so thats 4 up to now. I shall have at least 1 when I arrive at work at 10.30 another about 1pm and 2pm and maybe 4pm and 6pm then when I get home at 7.30. Thats it then. I make that 10 at least !

How many do you drink in a normal day ?

None. I don't like tea or coffee. Some people look at me as if i'm crazy when I say that!!

Easily 10-15 cups of tea for me daily. I can't function properly until cup number two in the morning.

I must admit the first thing I do if people call is put the kettle on for more tea and get surprised that that don't want a coffee or a tea. My son never drank tea or coffee until well into his 20's, but now has unfortunately developed a habit of drinking too much black coffee.

I had an uncle that never drank either all his life. He hated both.

But I love my strong, black tea!!

I have to have coffee first thing.
After that I usually have a tea (proper Yorkshire tea) every couple of hours

At the moment I am torn between Tetleys and Yorkshire Tea. I like them both. I don't like any other popular brands.

I just HAVE to have a cup of tea first thing in the morning, wherever I am, but that is it for the day. I only like coffee with coffee-mate and 2 spoons of demerara sugar in and only have 2 a day. That is it really, don't like water on its own so make home-made lemonade or drink juice. I know I don't have enough fluids in a day but have always been like this!

Tis pure manna from heaven when you open a new packet of tea and you get that 'whoosh' of fresh tea smell, wonderful.

I have a coffee in the morning and I will have one when I get home from work.
Whilst I am at work I drink green tea with lemon.
I used to drink about 8 cups a day but now have cut back as I was getting jittery.

I've had 5 cups of tea already. Before the days out I expect to have drunk about 16 cups.

I suppose that the size of the cup/mug and the strength of the contents has a bearing on the answer - half a dozen petite coffee cups with weak contentswould have a totally different effect to half a dozen half pint mugs full of industrial strength coffee.
I have 3 or 4 mugs of coffee or tea a day and drink water or squash at other times.
