I have seen it lots of times. I think its a wicked film but I especially loved it when I was a teenager, i'm not sure if I would spend my money on buying a video or dvd of it purely because videos and dvd's of old films suck as this or things like grease can be quite expensive.
Have you seen Weird Science? Or St. Elmo's Fire? Or Pretty In Pink? All by the same group of producer/director and actors...and all fabo in my opinion.....the DVD was due for release at the start of this month but has been put back by a few months by all accounts.
You could try the new on-line Blockbusters service that has loads of trailers and you can then rent it via post. Well worth watching but i would always be a little reluctant to buy a film I havent already seen.
I know what you mean about just buying a film... but my dad suggested it and I trust him, but I wanted more info, and I don't know anywhere I can rent it! but thank you!
One of the best movies from the 80's. Judd Nelson and Charlie Sheen are gorgeous and for the guys Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy should appeal. I don't know if this would suit you as it is 2003 and things are different. Watching movies from the 80's now aren't as good as they were then. Still it was a huge hit and if you like any of the actors then you should enjoy it. You can buy the Region 1 DVD at play.com for 15 with free postage.
