The Mentalist

Hi, I am in Greece and watching the Mentalist which I really enjoy. Last night the episode had Patrick in a shopping mall shoot who he thinks is red john and it ends with Patrick with his hands behind his head surrendering.Is this the very last episode,or is there another series?

I ask because here they have a habit of showing 1 series and then that's it,they show no more and it's very annoying!now they are showing another series The closer in its place.

No there is another series, which I am watching at the moment. Do you want to know what happens or do you like surprises?

P.S. I don't like the Closer very much - the detective isn't exactly beautiful is she and she is supposed to be about 40 while I think she might be older than that. Perhaps I am too critical.

On the trailer for the closer(It will start tonight) the blonde detective looks much older,I agree. Is the closer any good?

I like the closer and why do actresses have to be stereotype beautiful. She has character and is great.

I have great difficulty understanding what she is saying.

They aren't stereotyped beautiful though are they Brin, especially the ones who play at being detectives. Ones that spring to mind are Scott and Bailey, Rosemary and Thyme, Maisie Raine (who they expect me to believe might be able to run after a criminal) and many others. But I still watch them. The same applies to the men detectives - they are even worse than the female ones. Sour faced Morse, nearly as bad Lewis, Midsomer Murders and many more. And some of them are so old they should have been retired years ago. As I said, I still watch.

glad you like the mentalist,valeria :-) another series will appear! if you appreciate the mentalist,please give the closer your best. it is another quirky police show,which is what i base it on,not, what the female lead looks like:-(

I have just seen the actress who plays Brenda the detective on the closer being interviewed and she speaks nothing like the part she plays.When she puts that accent on I also cannot understand her.Her accent in real life is very clear. By the way, apart from that I've seen 2 episodes now and they are very good!

I've decided I'm going to buy the mentalist on DVD as I love it so much!
