As children my father made us drink a glass of Guinness mixed with milk and sugar every night. He said it would make us grow. I just made it to 5ft. Now I love Guinness, especially in Dublin. Went over recently for a music festival, an evening with Dara O`Briain and a few jars. And it influenced my user name.
My cousin drinks pints of Guinesss - she's looked pregnant for the last few years.
Apparently it was my mum's craving when having me. I can't drink it but love marmite.
It is like Marmite in the respect that you either love it or hate it. I love Marmite but hate Guinness.

Did you know that cats love Marmite as well as humans?
Mackeson is still available but I have only seen it in supermarkets and off licences in recent years. It is a lot sweeter than Guiness as it has 'milk sugar' which does not ferment to alcohol , hence' milk stout'
