FINANCE MANAGER
AFGHANISTAN, TAX FREE SALARY
Our client requires a Finance Manager, to work for their overseas Support Service Operations. The role is in support of contract expansion and will be joining their operations in Afghanistan.
Responsibilities
Analysis of the P/L including all the costs and income lines
Cost control and cost improvement initiatives to be put in place by the Finance Manager, in cooperation with the other Senior Managers and Finance staff
Audit of all the costs incurred as well as cash audits and assets audits
Preparation of Investment Application and supporting documents
Fixed Asset Audit (as well as preparing the forms for transfers, disposals etc) check if all the assets are recorded correctly
Stock inventory checks and creating a new inventory system
Spot checks - on anything that is a cost to the business
P&L review on variances needs to be explained and comments on income need to be detailed by customer
Invoicing reviewing
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Chartered Public Accountant capable to prepare the annual financial statements according to IFRS
Management of the monthly financial reporting to the Head office incl. capital expenditure and cash flow planning
Strong skills to control and optimize the working capital
Minimum of five years experience in a similar position
Experience in leading, managing and developing a team Good knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX) and implementation of processes, E-banking and Microsoft Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of initiative, problem solving and decision making ability
Fluent English
Strong communication skills and able to work and adapt to an intercultural environment
This role is based in a conflict zone and the package will include Tax Free Salary, All Travel, Rotational Work Patterns, Insurance, Food and Accommodation.
