Where has the letter T gone

This boring old fart is wondering why people have stopped using the letter T in their speech??

I dislike it greatly when I here people on T V dropping the T also N!! What's gone wrong???

Am I being too "picky" . My wife, who has a degree in elocution, thinks maybe I am.
