Hello
I need to buy a cheap netbook computer for Internet and word processing usage.
I'm really looking for something very basic and reliable.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Very happy with it. One thing I am pleased about is to stick with the brand - its not much different in operation to my last toshiba so no big learning curve. ( I bought my last on 6 yeasr ago & still using that too)
You said Notebook and then Netbook. They are not the same thing, so which do you mean?
A notebook is the same as a laptop.
A netbook is a smaller device with smaller screen, smaller keyboard and no CD/DVD Drive.
If you mean a laptop/notebook then Tesco/Sainsburys and others do deals for laptops about £300 or so.
There are many models to chose from at that price so difficult to suggest just one or you.

Hello again
Sorry for the confusion, I should have proof read my question throughly before posting. Thanks to VHG for spotting my mistake and to bondgirl007 and Squitty for their answers too.
I did mean netbook, not notebook.
I am on a tight budget and am not looking to spend more than £150.
Therefore I am probably looking a reconditioned or secondhand netbooks.
Any suggestions on what to look at and where to buy would be appreciated.
I will be using the netbook to fill in online job application forms.
Thanks once again.
