Well I managed to get OH to Bristol airport ok for his fortnight in Spain with his friend. Well he drove there and I had to get myself back home. Thank heavens for sat-navs. I did get lost in the car park at the airport, took a bit of sorting to get out. Set off fine, we programmed sat nav to get me to junction 19 on the M5. Got lost 3 times due to road signs saying one thing and SN saying something else, nbut eventually I got home, exhausted but very proud of myself. The problem is OH does all the long journeys, I just pootle about locally, as a result I have lost my confidence. Will be interesting when I have to pick them up in 2 weeks time.

No stopping you when you go to pick them up, eh? It'll be a fight to see who drives home me thinks. ;-)
I wouldn't feel a lack of confidence by the car parks. I picked my OH up from Luton yesterday. the signage was appalling. I was screaming blue murder by the time I got there. If Bristol is anything like Luton, you've done well to get out in one piece.
i think you did very well. speaking as someone who has no sense of direction and can get lost just going round a roundabout (even one i've driven round donzens of times) good on you for your success. now you have no limit.
I wouldn't even think of picking him up!....tell him to get a train or taxi!.........I would not stress myself out to collect them!...............
You did well!! I got lost tonight about 2 miles from my house because there was a diversion from my normal route! That's what you call a bad sense of direction! Lol!
