Awwww, they weren't all horrible dresses, I liked some of them.

The two ladies wearing not quite matching outfits looked lovely and I thought the lady with he Lulu Guinness bag looked nice but I would have gone for a different hat.

I was quite touched by one of the group photos of majorly glammed up ladies and one of the group who is a little bit in the background who appears to be wearing trousers and flat shoes, I love her being true to herself and not following the crowd.

Most are horror stories but I really like the long red dress the girl with the floppy hat is wearing (next to the lime green and blue ensemble).

Ascot are banning such dresses this year so I hear.

what annoys me is that they were clearly choosing pictures of outfits to sneer at while posting captions that made it seem like they weren't. Seems a bit two faced....or was that just me??

I agree there were some that were quite nice and the ladies had obviously made an effort.

Probably all those women went out thinking they looked nice and feeling very good about themselves. I agree with Annie. I really liked a lot of the shoes! :c)

Rocky, I liked that outfit too, she judged it really quite well with her accessories, shame the photo wasn't more flattering.

Ascot is tightening the dress code but there will be just as many horror stories.

I think the worst thing in them pics is that bloody horrible fake tan, they all look like they've been tangoed, it just cheapens an outfit beyond belief.

We usually go to Ascot in July hopefully we'll be going this year, we go in a box and it's great looking down at all the frocks.

I think Ascot can be enjoyed on race days only as a race goer, those of us who live nearby just endure it :-(

I'll be honest Eccles, I'm not fond of the racing, but I like the company that we go with and we get quite spoiled.
