Ever tried searching for something? Particularly if it's something I've seen but forgotten, which I want to look up again. Basically, Mr AB, your search facility brings up anything and everything, but not what I want! Things which don't even contain my search terms!

c00ky83, We have asked this many times before, but it is probably appropriate to raise it again now in order to keep it to the forefront of the Editor's brain.

We have been told it is on the 'To Do' list, but not too sure how far down it is. Maybe the list works like this forum and each new suggestion pushes previous ones further down. Maybe our dear Ed should experiment with 'stickies' (found on other fora) to keep this suggestion at the top (or at least second to 'Biddy Bank').

What I find particularly annoying about the search facility, is its total rejection of numbers so it is impossible to search Q & P for a particular puzzle (eg RT 46) or a particular question (eg Rainbow 36).

Well AB ED, What number IS this on your list?

As gen says, this Q has been asked many times. Some of the searches just don't make sense, so hopefully the AB Ed/Tech's will be able to sort it out in time!

Well I didn't realise...rather like the search function, the previously asked questions you get are often unrelated to what you ask!

Hi All,

We will be improving our Search facility as we know that the results it brings up are not always terribly relevant. We hope to introduce it in the coming months.

Thank you for your patience.
