I have been barred from the Co-op!!

I have apparently been barred from the local Co-op for being rude and aggressive towards one of the checkout 'ladies'.

I wouldn't mind but the 'lady' in question would make Attila the Hun seem like Bo-Peep :-(

I am based in the West Midlands and I moved to this area about 6 months ago. On visiting the local Co-op for the first time I was struck by how friendly and helpful all the staff were - cheerful assistance was offered without it being asked for etc.

This was obviously not a 'be kind to strangers' day as it is the same on every visit.

In all fairness I must confess that I have never had a problem with Co-op staff; just their produce and their prices.

last time i went in a co op shop they still used divi numbers.....worst supermarkets in the land.....overpriced tatty looking frontages .....i banned THEM years ago...

In the 1970's my company took over the old Co-op offices which still had the shop downstairs (this was a big Co-op). We eventually had to have key-pad access fitted as we used to find elderly ladies wandering into the office asking about their divvys...................
