I adore Harry Potter, but I won't buy the book. It would just sit on my shelf unused.

jk rowling launches her first adult novel this september, she'll make enough from that to donate the rest of her income from the potter books to charity, they still sell incredibly well.
It was not directed at anybody Ratteris. The audio edition of the complete HP series read by Stephen Fry is first class.
I haven't bought any of the others ....
...mmmm....I consider the whole Harry Potter deal a complete waste of space.....if everybody was like me she would not be millionairess out of kids pocket money............just meaningless nonsense IMHO.

Lucky for her I'm just a Mr Grumpy then Heh heh!
> Nice idea for those hoping to do the World of Harry Potter as their Mastermind subject

It's been done...
By David Blunkett I think???
No I wasn't twelve but might have appreciated them more if I was...

I loke it when Mastermind does an author I know fairly well.... The Dragon Books of Anne Mccaffery was one i remember and the Discworld books of Terry Pratchett has been done as well I think
i live them, got the books and films but i won't buy this, i;d flick through it, put it down and not touch it again. i have too many books as it it

apparently its time for a cull :-(
I was talking about the "real" series, not the "celebrity" one. That said, Lucy Porter, previous celebrity winner, is a good mate of a good mate of mine, and he informs me that she's extremely intelligent and an excellent quizzer...
