Half Life 2: Episode One

Right at the end of Chapter 3: Lowlife where you reconnect the electricity to a lift and have to wait for it to arrive whilst being attacked by zombies with grenades as well as other creatures, and all this time the torch keeps running out of power so that Alyx is less use than you'd like - the lift isn't even close by the time I get killed off.

Has anyone got through this scene and, if so, can you remember how you did it? I been using the strategies given in the GameFAQ guides but without success so far.

If you have followed the Gamefaqs walkthroughs without success try You tubing it. It has worked for me before now. Sounds like you just need a change of tactics.

Hurrah, after 6 weeks of not playing through having a defeatist attitude I have just given it another go and got through that scene.
