ummmm, you could well be talking about my youngest 'darling'. Would he b about the same age? mine is 12 - 13 this year.
13 the youngest.....

The 'you don't understand what I'm going through' is 15.

Funny, they get praised so much...such lovely, well mannered, boys. It leaves me perplexed!!! I try and tell people they are not like this at home....They don't believe me.

Boys are minging!!
ummmm - my psoraiasis is pretty bad - but i am very lucky because it doesan't itch or hurt at all.

Because it's in my scalp, I dream fruitlessly of wearing dark clothes, and that gets me down on a daily basis, however, it's something to live with.

Has anyone ever tried accupuncture for it?

Sorry to hijack your thread Smowball xx
Good thread Smowball (and I'm an expert now of course!).

My reasons to be cheerful:

1. Supposed to rain today, but it's been wall to wall sunshine!
2. I love my big, beautiful dog.
3. Friend coming to stay from Scotland soon and we're going to see
Phantom in Manchester.
4. I have a cosy, little house, all paid for now.
5. Cold starting to feel better.
6. OH coming round tonight to cook and he's a good cook.

A-H, feel free!
Thanks Chaptazbru : )
Ummm, I get people say exactly the same to me! How odd. Maybe they just put on the , as I put it, the Kevin and Perry act when they are home.

My wife had horrible, really horrible palmer plantar psoriasis Andy and she tried everything for it, every nasty steroid cream etc in the world. It went in the end by applying honey and also including it in her diet a lot. When she was on the steroid creams the withdrawal if she tried to wean herself off was dreadful, her hands and feet just became a bloody pulp. Dunno if it would help you, or if you have already tried it, but it certianly cleared hers and it hasn't flared up again since.
You're a very lucky woman Smowball!
Thanks NOX but i think honey is the spawn of the devil, i can't abide the smell or taste of it, and I would not be able to stand it on my skin, so that's not an option.

Sorry for the confusion owdhamer, I write about music, I don;t actually write music, I just talk to the geniuses who do!
Andy - honey is a great healer, a natural antiseptic, they used to use it on soldiers wounds in the war. Surely you could give it a try - it may help you and you would be so pleasantly surprised.
Andy I had head to foot pustular psoriasis, it was cured by chemotherapy injections. Never came back.
Sorry to hear that andy, not quite sure why you couldn't stand it on your skin if it cleared your psoriasis up, but each to their own and hope you do manage to find soemthing to clear it. What are you being prescribed at the moment?
You have indeed found a pot of Gold.
