Lol, we have rainwater pouring down our road and the drains arent coping, they are overflowing. Yet we cant use our hosepipe.
It's sunny now :-)
Oh shush ummmm!!!!

Exactly Smow....where is all this rain going? Please don't anyone lecture on me [anyone] on the wrong sort of rain, we pay enough to have water and the water companies have had a pretty long time to work out how to store and re-cycle it correctly!
TBH I couldn't care less about the ban, it really doesn't effect me, what annoys me is incompetent management!
Any way.... back off to build my Ark.... and if anyone is interested Morrisons don't sell Gopherwood or whatever its called!!!!

i reckon as soon as there was news that we were in a drought, somebody turned on the tap and left it running.
but doesn't everythinhg look lovely when the sun comes out and we have seen rainbows almost every evening this week
It's a good thing there's a hosepipe ban, as it's far too wet to go outside and water the gaarden.
gaarden?

It's cos Oi'm from Glaaacerstershire.
it hasn't stopped raining long enough for the sun to come out, it must be wearing a very wet hat at the moment..
It will need to rain like this nonstop 24/7 for 4 months or more to get back the amount of rain we have '' missed'' over the last 3 years. Last year my area got just 56% of the normal rainfall , this year until April, we had had just 26% of the normal rainfall.
