A really good thing to do on a nice and warm day in summer is searching for someone who's familiar with the mountains and can lead you on a hill (a wonderful place is the Glenmore or Grampian Mountains, Middle and Western Highlands). It'll take you a little time but it's worth it, even if you're not sporty at all!! The view over little Scottish towns is awesome and you can see all this beauty of Scotland! But be careful and make sure that your leader's really got a clue what to do when the weather changes! But I think there must be guided tours on the mountains, too...
I hope my answer helped a bit!
