What does the UK think of immigrants?

For my own personal research, I'm posing the question, what does the UK now think of immigrants? My personal thoughts on the subject are that the UK is already a crowded place and we are losing our countryside to build houses to accomodate the influx of people, the immigrants have broken the freedom of speech which our parents and grandparents fought for in the Second World War. I know this question question may seem like russian roulette with the way the government seems to be on their side, but I'm interested in YOUR thoughts.

It's possible, I raised this point ages ago, and was shot down in flames. I think there will be a civil war within the next 20 years in britain, cos not everyone is as PC as they like you to think they are, the illegals are getting up peoples noses, demanding this, that and the other. Everybody on this forum so far seems to reckon its racist to say the slightest bad thing against the muslims or the blacks, but we will see, a few more attacks like what happened in July might be enough to convince people that we should be very very concerned about the amount of illegal immigrants coming in, instead of jumping on people for having non PC views and branding them racists. People who do that just anger me.

BTW, I'm going to start ignoring people who will insist in slagging me off for my non PC views, you have the audacity to call ME a bigot, I think some of you want to take a look in the mirror, how can you proclaim to accept others points of view, you have put your opinions across just as strongly as I, and are unwilling to accept anything else that deviates from this, any slagging off I may have done is pure reciprocation for what I have recieved.

If I were asked, with foresight, fifty years ago to either choose to have none of the benefits to this country of immigration or have the situation we now find ourselves in I know what I would have said. 'NO IMMIGRATION'

How about you ? Make a simple hypothetical choice.

I would absolutely have no hesitation in saying Yes immigration.After all plenty countries took our emigrants in and are they complaining - think not.Seems to have been overlokked that particular aspect though!!!

apologies to everyone who doesn't, but I agree with madein1978. This government has clearly lost control of our borders and is now following a policy of appeasement to the hostiles we have allowed in. We frequently read of bewilderment: they come here, to a free and democratic country, where they are allowed to live without fear of midnight raids. They are given free housing, healthcare and education. Yet they hate us. Why? Because they don't respect us. We're soft. We don't amputate hands for stealing; we don't stone to death for adultery. In fact, there are few penalties for wrongdoing compared to the countries they come from. Our tolerance and humanity have made us sitting ducks and everyone who voted Blair in AGAIN must take part of the responsibility for the ongoing destruction and deconstruction of our country.

I agree with madein's views 100% and before the racist cry goes up, I am not racist but anyone who agrees on the current levels of imigration ( importing muslims at the current rate of 150,000 per annum) who have sworn their hatred for us and everything we stand for in the western world

and the importation of eastern european criminals that their countries rightly want rid of are just too stupid to have an opinion.
