Lasagne! Totally random, it was meant to be for lunch but opened fridge and saw it, and thought why not.... and it was very very nice.

"bison of cornflakes"

LOL ... very good, jno
I'm going to show this post to OH later. He thinks I'm bonkers 'cos I eat whatever's there for breakfast; perhaps left over curry, sherpherds pie, cold potatoes (mmm) etc etc. I've never seen anything wrong with it!
Zola lived in Upper Norwood in 1898.

Patrick Stewart and Peter Sarstedt live there, and that's just people whose initials are PS.

Kirstie MacCoall, Kate Moss and Katie Melua are just the KMs.
I thought Katie Melua was Eastern European of some sort.

Oops, almost forgot ... horseshoes? ... you ARE bonkers! Shepherd's Pie???!

JJ - sorry, still laughing.

Shepherds pie with gravy, yummm
Katie just went to the Brit School, as did Amy Winehouse.

And CB Fry was born there, the English cricketer who was offered the throne of Albania. But better to be a serf in Croydon than a king in Albania; there are fewer mountain bandits.
