i am on tenderhooks just now,i got a phone call from drs. surgery to phone the doctor at 12.30,concerning tests done at hospital,the hospital told me they were fine so why is the dr wanting to speak to me.i also got a letter to tell me to go for a chest x-ray on friday,that was right out of the blue as well,but i am getting myself all worked up now,i cant drink any more tea,i am a bag of nerves.

My husband suffers from polymyalgia rheumatica and constantly has his CRP measured (and sometimes PV) They stopped using ESR because they said CRP was a better indicator.

hi there everyone,i am calmer now,spoke to dr.he said my esr was high(87)and it was to do with blood cells (i think)as long as i am feeling ok,get xrays and another test done at the end of the month and he will take it from there,he thinks it could probably be back to normal by then,said no need to worry but he has to follow through with the blood tests.
