A few months ago I posted that my friends bf had just found out that he had stomach cancer, he is 45. Sqad said prognosis for that type of cancer wasnt very good, despite what friend was saying. He has had 2 lots of chemo and tumor shrunk to 7.5 cm - it was 10cm before.
two weks ago he was being too sick to have the next lot of chemo, the scanned him again and the tumor has grown back. He is now either sleeping, or being sick, cannot eat at all. She took him back to hosp yesterday and they have kept him in to re scan him today. He is 6ft2 and weighs 57kilos. My friend doesnt even want to ask how long he may have, I dont think its looking very good at all.

Really sorry to hear that Smowball. Such a shame, so young :o(
Oh dear - that poor man - sounds really bad. My dad died of cancer and lost so much weight. Its a cruel disease - your friend will need you x
Sorry to hear this Smowball, next step may be a referral to the hospice to get his sickness under control if they can,, the drugs they may need to use can make him even sleepier though.
So sorry to hear that smow:(
Not the sort of thing that gives me any pleasure in being correct.
So sorry to hear that, my FIL died due to this - took them 2 years to diagnose it (this was 30 years ago) and he died shortly afterwards - its a horrible disease that robs us of our loved ones.
I can understand that Squad, but honesty is a fantastic attribute to have.

I dont think my friend can quite believe what is happening. She has two young children and has only been with this man for 2 years, and so has gone from lover to carer very quickly. She is on medication from the doctor for stress now. Such a cruel disease - he is such a lovely man.
That poor girl - you sound lovely and she is lucky to have you as a friend x
