out of sync sound

i download a torrent of lost as an avi file, then i burn through nero vision express version 3 onto dvd to play on my dvd player, the sound is always out of sync. It seems to be alright at the beginning then seems to progressively get worse. Any ideas or solutions as its really doing my nut now. cheers

does the video stay in sync when you play it on your pc? if so you may need to adjust the speed that nero burns the dvd (slow it down).
