Not to drugs, or cigarettes. Well maybe them but more importantly to house guests.

I have my brother, his wife and their daughter (just under 2) arriving tomorrow until Wednesday.

At first I was looking forward to my first proper house guests and even told them they'd be better to stay here than at dads but this was before I remembered what a pain in the arse my sister in law is.

Then I heard that little Ava (the daughter) is a bit off colour so this means SIL will be even more demented than normal. I mean this woman is deranged. She makes my brothe watch TV in silence with the subtitles when Ava is in bed and you're not allowed to flush the toilet.

Plus, despite how well presented she always is, she actually lives like a pig. I'm talking dirty nappies lying around and bits of old food left to slowly rot down the side of the sofa. I'm beginning to regret my offer.

Anyone want to put me up for a few days?

(I'm waiting for the cat to come home so I can go to bed and immensely bored so thought I'd share my dispare with you all)

Well Maidup, you raise a whole other issue there. One of the other reasons they better not stay at dads is that he doesn't allow sofa surfers. He gets up early and likes to enjoy his coffee and news without having to consider others. My SIL pretty much always kicks my bro out of bed.

Last time they stayed when I was living with dad I woke up to tales of how he had attempted to sleep in the bathroom, the landing and the hallway so he could play his wife and not bother my dad. Poor sod. He's allowed to sleep on my sofa if she makes him.

Put the TV on, adjust it to the volume that suits you and then stuff the remote control in your knickers.

Don't worry Daisy, that TV rule will be out the window in my house. My house, my rules.

Last time they were with us he seriously suggested he would go for a late night, post booze wee at the the end of the garden so he didn't make any noise. That was until I said in no uncertain terms I would be using the facilities provided and I would also be flushing. And guess what, babe didn't batter an eye lid to the noise.

I'm sad to say I'm like youe S I L,much to my old mans disgist,but hope not so away from home.because I'm so messy people do not stay with us,they visit,which is great,but I'm too stuck in my ways.
