Going to a BBQ tonight - but it's still raining here, so the grass wil be a bit damp to say the least!! Cooking dinner for family and OH tomorrow and Tues hope for a drive out into the country, weather permitting ....

just returned from campervan-ing trip and currently settled in front of the tv for the flotilla! looking forward to the concert tomorrow!

Nothing...

yes in the caring profession you are on a rota, so unless you drop lucky
and it's you're day off, then it's work. You can request it off before the rota
is completed, unless you're on a rolling rota, then you know exactly what
you're on this day next year, and no day off in lieu.

Its still raining fast. Stuck in until Wednesday as we get no bus service on Sundays and none on bank holidays.

We have one of our plasma screens on following the Thames Pageant tell you what ..... it looks spectacular! ..... even looks like our forecasts were spot on as well

I was getting wet, in company with a friend and her daughter from Canada (who flew in for it, so it would have been churlish not to go) on the River at Pimlico. And it was well wortb it. They had been there since 10 am . I wasn't!
Tomorrow brings the village festivities, including the dog show which I've been roped in to judge (Gulp!)
