Actually thats not technically true as the earth is bigger and is made of more particles, if i am correct matter is just particles.
farseer-mass is a measurment of matter, and if you were to go to the moon, you would not change ur mass.
ur weight would change though as weight is just due to the effect of gravity on matter
Both of you are correct depending on how you interpret the question.  The earth has more matter than the moon and "you", a person would have the same amount of matter whether or not you were on the earth or the moon.

yeah it's a poorly phrased question. very ambiguous, though i think between you you've covered both probable interpretations

would it be your weight, mass, volume, or density that would change????
