Wimbledon...One for you football moaners

13 and a half hours of tennis on BBC1 and BBC2 today...and every day for nearly 2 weeks.
What do those on here that moan when a football match is shown for a couple of hours, occassionally, think of that?
Or are you all Pimms sipping strawberry munchers?

I totally agree with whiskyerone. Can anyone tell me WHY we can't have a Sport Channel for Sport Buffs only at times like these? What's the problem????

Back in the Fifties,Wimbledon fortnight was known for two weeks of sunny weather. Let's hope that these two weeks will also be fine.
Personally, I only watch the men's final.
(Will the strawberries still be £1 each? I believe the strawberry crop has not been good in the UK this year)

Lol^ ( sick of hearing about Fergie time) but you do have valid point M-WBA, with the whingers aboot football we have to suffer the fact that Soaps are on all year.... every year... even Christmas there no escape.

I don't mind the football being on................I watch my tennis DVDs.

first on bbc, then over to itv, so there was no escaping it. As to the soaps well they have been moved, rescheduled, cut to accommodate the football. I may or may not watch the soaps, but it's not just on at the moment, look at the schedules most weekends and there it is, not just football, but racing, snooker, and so on. Perhaps you have stopped watching now England have crashed and burned.

with so many channels to chose from its easy to avoid stuff you don't want to watch... I find tennis boring, enjoy football, rugby, surfing, and some others if in doubt there are always the documentary channels Pimms goes with anything...
