has this happened to you,my daughter came home park her car up,went to it the next day ,would not start ,got the guy out from local garage and he said it needs to be coded by peugoet, why ? what if it does the same later £70 later !!!
Was there plenty of life in the battery Auto? did something cause the car not to start eg/ the remote alarm etc? it seems strange that the car was parked up then would not start. did she leave the lights on?
im interested as to how he come to this conclusion,i cant think of any reason why this would happen overnight, even a flat battery wouldnt require the vehicles security system/key to fail(assuming thats what he means by coding),
unless the key/fob got damaged in some way...
Peugeot do have an occasional issue with the key going out of code and therefore the car will not start. Back to the beginning -
1 Does the car turn over at-all.
2 Does the radio/info display show the word ' economy '.
3 how many keys do you have ?
