What is this from?

I've had this scene from something going round in my head all day and it's driving me nuts.

It's someone sitting an exam and their paper is sealed with a little paper fold. They try to break the seal with a pencil but it snaps. They then try to fill in the exam whilst holding the 2 halves of the pencil together but it's at an odd angle.

I just can't picture who it is or what programme is was from...anyone know?
