Well, the offending tooth has been removed and to be honest I didn't feel a thing. Mouth still frozen but have co-codamol at the ready! Only problem so far is that I can't have a hot cup of builders!

Be careful to eat on the other side of your mouth, i.e away from the tooth socket. It'll give your socket time to recover from the dental treatment.
