Is this the stuff that marks scumbags with an ultraviolet stain when sprayed on them? Seen it in car theft demos on a couple of tv programmes.

Smartwater in the UK is a substance used to mark property with a unique invisible code that will not wash off. Hence the American drink called smartwater has to be sold under a different name. Over here in the UK i believe its called vitamin water. It is produced by the same company (Glacéau) as the U.S drink.
The only difference to normal water being it contains electrolytes which help prevent dehydration.
