What would you do?

My 80yr old neighbour called round earlier this evening with a parcel that was addressed to her that she hadn't ordered.
The name of the catalogue company is Very and she has never even heard of them.
I phoned the company on her behalf and was told by the automated reply that I would have to wait at least 10 mins before my call was answered so I put the phone down.
I've told her to leave it with me and I will try to get it sorted, so I emailed them.
I just wondered how that can happen though, receiving something addressed to you from a company you have never even heard of.
Have you heard of this happening before?

I got a bill from a mail order company at my address, for a Mr. T. Purchase. (Test Purchase). When I rang them they said they had spotted the orders and stopped them being delivered.
They do a test purchase, then go for the biggy. They then try to intercept the delivery, or knock on the door after delivery and request it back saying there was a mistake.
