Boxing has Michael Buffer with his mighty Let's Get Ready To Rumble!! but British golf has a Scottish chap with a very weedy voice that's goes up at the end of each announcement.

Isn't it time that they got someone with a butch voice to do the intros?

Lawd no!

Peter Alliss is bad enough. I know he is almost an institution, (or should be in one), but he drives me mad.

They should use the guy from the X-factor. Not that I watch it of course, honestly.
