Dumped Kittens
11 Answers
I had a knock at my door at midnight Last night, From a neighbour who was at the local village Pub, When they were outside haging a smoke, someone dumped 2 kittens off, they phoned the RSPCA but was told if they were healthy that they would not help, they did not know what to do with them so they bought them up to my house, they are both females, around 3/4 months old. I Have put signs up this morning but no one has contacted me, Every cat rehoming centre is full to bursting point. After 9 different phone calls and 3 hours of waiting, I got the good news that a member of staff at a resue centre will foster them from tomorrow morning, So pleased they are going to stay in a home and not kennels, they really are 2 little sweeties, lovely temperament. How can someone just dump them Like that, All breeders should be licensed and neutering should be compolsery. That what I think anyway.

Aww Josephine, how gorgeous! I don't know how anyone can dump them like that. The RSPCA can be pretty useless with things like that. Do you have a branch of Cats Protection near you? They are much better IMO. At least they have got a good foster home for the time being. Hopefully they'll be able to find a loving home for them soon.
Well I did not want to get attached, but all my cats at the moment seem fine with them, Ziggy is a sleep in the same room as them, but hi rise on a ferret cage, they have met the dogs, they are so laid back you can't believe it, I have 6 cats of my own and at the moment they have seemed to melt in pretty well, So I have rung the sanctury and asked for 48 hours to see how they got on with mine, and see how they all interact and they have said that is fine, no problems so far apart from fright from dogs, but cats they are fine with it at he mo, all my animals are neutered every one of them, and these too will be as well, the sanctury said they would most probably be seperated so we want to see if all can get on, My cats that I have are not fighters and walk away from conflict,
but thanks.
but thanks.

Gotta love the RSPCA aint ya? Not surprised at all. I honestly think its about time that "charity" (and I do use the term loosely) was disbanded, they are about as useful as a chocolate teapot and so far removed from their original ethos that it's not even remotely funny.
