the saddest thing ?

the saddest thing i saw at the opening ceremony last night was. mohamad ali being prompted ( unsuccessfully ) to " wave at the crowd " this once great sportsman looked so frail and unrecognisable, i do believe he should not have been exploited in this way. :(

No getting away from the fact that he was a
Separatist
philanderer
draft dodger
too.
The nicest thing I can say to excuse him, is that he was easily led.
He gave his money to scumbags who used and abused him, that is why he had to fight when he was well past his sell by date.
He was to be pitied when he fought Larry Holmes.
Thankfully Larry Holmes did have some humanity and took it very easy on Ali.

I think he has done some good in recent years-enough for positive recognition...

As for him being a philanderer-him and how many other men in the public eye?
