Photo downloads

When downloading email attach's how do I designate where I want them saved? At the moment they always go to "downloads".I'm using Mozilla Firefox. Thanks!!

The attachments are files, a folder is a place to store files, you can download the file to any folder you want, if you go into options and on the general tab set firefox to always ask me where to save files then you'll get a prompt for everything you download asking what folder you like to download it to.
In reality, it's probably easier to leave it so it downloads everything to the downloads folder so you can always find everything you download and then move whatever you download to the relevant folder afterwards.

Thanks again Chuck,you're right I got my file and folder a..e about face.What you suggest about going straight into "downloads" makes sense,but in that folder I've allowed it to get so cluttered that my later additions never seem to be at the top of the "page" and I have to search for them.(I know ...declutter)I was hoping to start a new folder and be able to d/load straight into it.
