I have a CCTV system at home which I can view on my mobile phone via an app called "zmeye," I have attempted to install this on my laptop but it says the application is for iphones and ipads so I wondered whether there is an application which can be installed on laptops which will enable me to view CCTV on that as well.

Most CCTV systems will let you view them in a browser as long as you're on the local network to them or have either setup the correct port forwarding, or given the CCTV box an external IP address.

Thanks for your answers, I will give this a try. I used my tablet when I was abroad and had no problem viewing my CCTV but I occasionally take my laptop with me.
