I'm a huge fan of the first three Bourne films, but am in two minds as to whether to see this new Bourne Legacy movie.

If anyone has seen it,without giving away too much of the plot - is it up to the quality of the first three films or should I give it a swerve?

If you really enjoyed Matt Damon don't go.
just got home from watching it.

the timeline of events overlaps the events of the third damon film, and occasionally flicks back to some of the characters in that movie.

but it stands out well on its' own legs.
Rowanwitch and myself both enjoyed it.
Jeremy Renner suited the part
I'm not sure I'll go either, they seem to be taking the titles and making disconnected films, as there are 10 Bourne books, I wonder if they'll take them all! The Matt Damon character was totally different from the books anyway, I suppose it makes no difference really.
I love the Bourne films and was disappointed that Damon wasn't in this one. However, I thoroughly enjoyed it and Renner was good. I read somewhere that there will be a fifth Bourne film with both Renner and Damon in it.
