unless they arrest you and ask for your passport i can't see how they could. Unless they arrange another interview for while you are away.
Be careful though - IF it's about a means tested benefit they are interviewing you and IF it's not a mistake, they may question how you are affording a holiday and it wont help your case. However, it might not be about that i guess!

You do need to tell them of course if you are claiming job seekers allowance and will be unavailable for work. if you are going abroad you definitely need to tell them. If you are staying somewhere away from home you should tell them if they may need to contact you with work details or need you to report in or sign-on, as they may want you to report to a different office while you are away

My husband has been accused of common assault by a neighbour. Disagreements have gone on for a couple of years, and they have been reported to the council for their dogs barking alot. Also my husband was verbally threated and this was reported to the police. My husband decided not to take it further, when the neighbour admitted he was guilty, as he wants to live in peace. However, he now has a common assault investigation, hanging over him. The neighbour is saying that he was pushed, and tripped over, and he then fell to the ground, which has caused some bruising to his chest.
His wife is being a witness to the assault. I believe my husband, and I think this is a made up story. He just wants to get his own back on my hubby, and have some power! PLEASE HELP, if he is charged what should he do?! He is taking it really badly, and I am worried for his welfare. Thank you for listening.
