I watched all 4 of the progs in this series. It was interesting to see how they adjusted a lot of the recipes used and heartening to see that they both lost about 3 stone in 3 months.
I would be interested to know how much of the loss was due to the food and exercise regime and how much was due to them giving up the booze for the period. It was hardly mentioned.
Anyone expecting a cookbook to be published soon?
Book's already announced, Amazon have an expected date of the 8th Sept. I enjoyed their take on weight loss and the recipes certainly seemed interesting. They did mention that they had laid off the booze and in the last episode said that at one point 20% ( I think) of their calories had come from alcohol and since they were on 3500 cals per day then 700 calories odd per day was booze. That doesn't actually seem that much to me, hic :-)
lots of calories in booze, and they have mentioned it, any number of times.
There was a piece with Olly, forgotten his surname, the wine expert, who has also shed a lot of weight, he explained to them how he has done it.
OH picked up the book in Tesco (paid for it too...)
Having followed a similar route since earlier this year and shed 2 stone so far, I'd say knocking off the booze is very important, followed by staying within close limits thereafter.
