Like wardlaw I know very little about London I googled Parkgate & there is a road with that name but it appears to lead to a docks area so don't think that would be applicable. The quiz is just called Towns & Places in London.

Thank you Topblue for your welcome answers, I think Whipps Cross is a good answer for no 5 & em10's Wapping would fit no 26 Another word for huge ?
also not sure about 10 as I have put Oxford Circus for 25 Surely not a boat race here ? Any further ideas please & thanks for all your help.
