A lady rang the local hospital and asked about a patient Mrs Tiptree, she said she had been admitted last week with chest pains. "I would like to know her condition has she deteriated is she stable or has she improved?" the operator said "do you know which ward she is in?" "Yes ward P room 2B" i will put you through" said the operator "Hello ward P" said the nurse can I help you? " yes said the lady I am enquiring about Mrs Tiptree in room 2B has she deteriated, stabilised or improved"? "Hang on" said the nurse "I will get her notes, yes she has improved she has regained her appetite her temperature has steadied and after a couple of routine checks she could go home tomorrow," "oh thank you I am so pleased thank you ever so much" " you seem very relieved said the nurse are you related or a good friend?"
" no I'm Mrs Tiptree in room 2B nobody tells you bugger all in here."
